He Waka Eke Noa
William Dunning’s Colonisation Triptych (1999) represents a re-examination of history, and together these works of art represent a legacy that continues to resonate. |
We all enjoyed our trip to the Canterbury Museum and the Christchurch Art Gallery for a look at the He Waka Eke Noa exhibition and to create our own waka design. We loved playing in the Gardens and sitting in the cockpit of the Air NZ plane which is sitting outside the museum!

The whole day reminded us about the past, the present, and the future as we all live and grow together in this wonderful city of Otautahi.
What do you love about Christchurch? Where did your whanau originally come from? What do you think Christchurch will be like in the future?
