Flextangle Fun

What a fun time had in the last week of term making these flextangles. We had to take care with colouring our pattern, cutting, and then gluing it carefully. After the glue had had plenty of time to dry, it was time to give it a go!
Who needs an expensive fidget spinner when you have these bright and colourful paper toys to play with. Check out how to make them at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pta1R7g05Xg, download the template, and give it a go with your friends.

Happy in Our Houses

Today we celebrated the holidays approaching with a House lunch. The children loved meeting up with others from their House.

Treaty Time

In Room 15, it is really important to us all that we learn and grow together as a class during 2017.
We have spent a long time discussing (in groups and as a class) how we would like to treat each other and how we would like to be treated.
What would this look like?
What would it sound like?
What does it feel like to be in an environment where we all respect each other and show responsibility, curiosity and persistence?
We did loads of talking about it then we had to narrow it down to a few things we could all agree on. We have all signed our names and shared this with our parents.

Have a read and let us know what you think:
In Room 15
“The Quarry”
"We want to feel happy and safe"
we all agree that we will…

Treat Others As We Want To Be Treated

Be Safe!
On the computers, on the road, in the classroom, sandpit, and at camp. Everywhere!

Use Self Control
“Give Me 5!”

Do the Right Thing at the Right Time
(Help others to do it too)

Be Respectful In All We Do

"Thumbs up from this group"
Look After People and Property
(Yours, Others, and the School’s)

Use Kind Words and THINK

Thinking hard about what will work for us.

Loads of great ideas!

Everyone has their say

All our ideas are valued
